Bill and Chris, if you can get Fred to change your entries, I say DO IT!!

The list of racers at that link is not completely complete (I'm not on it, nor is RayK, and I suspect there were some other last minute entries...) but it certainly reads like a Who's Who of top shelf Tamiya drivers.

almost 30 F1s!

Now I'm gonna be in a C main! Unless of course even more sign up then there's gonna be a D or even E main, yikes!

There are bump ups right?

Yea it's gonna be great . A chance to compete against that quality of drivers......But still no sign of the red bull ace. I'm sure theres also a lot of runner ups in this class as well. Looking forward to next week and to seeing the whole gang.

Default thinkg that make you go HUMMMMMM

All of you Silver can racers are very entertaining to say the least:

Just a couple of thoughts, we all know that Racing TCS is not Cheap, so why not take it to the next level, every run is a new motor for non brushless classes, (get a new motor every round in tech and install in tech); moreover, If a Racer has been caught “cheating” and they are disqualified from an event, it only seems fair, and that racer is also suspended from that Event for the Following year.

Just my $.02

Flame away ……( because I am rolling with my cod-waw perk #3 Fire Proof)

Cheaters need an asterisk by their name...like baseball players who cheat...

Barry Bonds*
Manny Ramirez*
Jose Conseco*

any TCS racer caught cheating....you get to wear a shirt with big fat * on the front of it.

Geez, and just when we all seemed to be getting along just fine, Brotherhood Of The Silver Can, bygones be bygones, no more haters, all that.

Do we really have to Stir The Soup? I mean the Nats are only a week away...

John and I (and that Other Guy, whom I have promised not to name online) have buried the hatchet offline. Going forward, let's see only Love for the week before the Nats. No more stirrin' the soup, no making outrageous claims, no bringing up past transgressions, or (I promise! ) no saying it's someone's birthday when it's not.

Default spec battery ?

I'm a little confused...
I just received an e-mail from TCS reminding me to get my "spec" motor which I bought for F1... but it also said to buy a "spec" battery ? What "spec" battery ? I have a Orion 3200 or 3800... are these cool ?

When I go to Tamiya USA , under TCS it still says silver can for this class and nothing about a spec battery...

Thanks in advance...

I'm a bit confused too, because the email also said that GT-2 needed to purchase spec motors. I think they meant to say GT-3 (black can). Or is Tamiya selling Novak/LRP brushless 17.5 motors for this event?

After investing this heavily in sedan tires/wheels and Brushless motors/escs, I better stick with GT-2.

Besides, I don't want to miss ANY of the mini racing. This way I can get a good seat for the show!!!!

I don't think we have a spec battery for F1, just spec motor. The silver can rule is for regional races. For the nats we have to get the 32T Formula 1 motor.

I think for the GT-2 spec motor reference, I believe the email actually meant GT-3 as the GT-2 for nats are running 17.5 brushless and spec Orion 3400 batteries.

Actually, I got my motor tuning tips from John H. who received his speed secrets years ago from an M Tanaka. One night, after several bottles of hard liquor were consumed, John shared the ultimate speed secret to those in attendance, "Mister Tanaka say sweat from beneath monkey barl make you go beeerrrry fassst!" true story
