(We could add a rule that Mini drivers have to tech "au natural" so there is no place to hide stuff - oh the horror of that picture!) It would be so great to just enjoy TCS Nationals Mini racing for what it ususally is at the club level - fun, low cost, low maintenance, low key racing - without even a whisper of monkey business.
Surely, you jest. Mini racing is devoid of "monkey business" at the club level is simply not true. Where do you think all this crap comes from??? It comes from guys who have been doing their "thing" at the local level, then getting caught in tech at the Nationals. This isn't just in Mini. You should hear the brushless TC guys bitching about all the motor shenanigans going on with those motors.

Cheating at something like r/c car racing is like cheating your friends in a penny ante poker game. I"ll never be able to understand it. This is just a personal feeling, but people like that are among the lowest of the low. They'll receive from me all the courtesies of polite society, but will never have my respect, trust or recommendation. Perhaps not valuable to them or maybe even to you, but it's very valuable to me. I extend it to only a few.

Not to out do Hebicki but was disturbed by the yellow (white) paint scheme. Was a quickie filter job. I probably could have isolated the tires to see if I could lighten them up a bit just don't have much time.

The group shot could have used a flash for that photo to get the faces. Which at noon not many think about. Usually flash is thought as a dark or indoor situation. A flash is good at almost anytime especially for static closups.

If I were to photoshop the group image I would have to mask the people from the background then manipulate on seperate layers. I don't see the faces popping from the shadows but could eliminate the neon glow effect from filtering everything at once. . . if only I had time lol. .

Alright you fellow F N F1ers, tire questions.

Part numbers 53128 (discontinued, tuff to find) and 84096 both describe HBR Medium front tires.
Is 84096 the new part number for the Med. fronts?
Are they the same tire?
