Tom, I'm pretty sure that Photoshop 2010 has the black bars to cover their eyes (private parts too) already in the software. Can't wait til it comes out.

I had to darken down some of the angles I shot because the sunlight shone off the painted islands so brightly that they washed out the image otherwise. BTW, Mark Hinckley, Don Passehl, Dave Bird and I went over this morn and put a second coat on the islands, so by Saturday they should gleam like FMW's teeth.
Besides, I had to hide the faces in the "painters" picture; the Witness Protection Program insisted I not completely reveal their identities.
send me the originals...i can correct them [email protected]

Austin Vacek won both GT1 and GT2 (light field in GT2, as has been usual this year), with Bill Vacek 2nd in GT2 and Randy Bernard 2nd in a very moist GT1 final.

Nice day of racing, many thanks to Chris for hosting.

TCS ROCKS!!!

Best of luck to everyone who will be attending the Nats this year!

Wow! What a great show for the red dots.
Yep, the Red Dot Motors International Playboy Driving Team did quite well. We were also able to help out quite a few fellow racers who were having suspension/setup/tire trouble with the slightly bumpy surface of the track. Always nice to meet new TCS buddies!

Next stop on the tour will be the Glen Burnie Charity Race on September 12th. Like last year, Red Dot Motors will be donating a prize for the raffle to raise money for a very worthy cause.

See you there!

Actually, thanks, Izzy. Those are better; I must make a mental note to be more careful with the aperture opening on that danged camera next time. I sent all the pics to Hebiki to play with, as per his recent post/offer.

Last year you were able to buy two motors for the Finals and we had you install and take them out in TECH. That worked out great. This year, as you already know, we are doing the same thing except with a twist. Every round you will swap motors. You will qualify and race a different motor every round. In round one “racer X” may have motor number 85, but in round two he or she will have motor number 17 and so on and so forth. This way no one can claim I got a bunk or magic motor. This is also why you will notice only one motor per racer in the TCS online store. You only need to buy the one motor.

I hope this clears things up.

Great motor system Fred - looking forward to a fun week - just two weeks away now!

I propose a challenge to the Mini Racers - can we possibly have a whole race weekend where nobody even thinks of bringing drops, cleaners, magnets, oversize pinions, or other motor speed vodoo to tech? (We could add a rule that Mini drivers have to tech "au natural" so there is no place to hide stuff - oh the horror of that picture!) It would be so great to just enjoy TCS Nationals Mini racing for what it ususally is at the club level - fun, low cost, low maintenance, low key racing - without even a whisper of monkey business.
