Wow, that is VERY COOL of you to ask! I would choose the 3400. Less weights too (presumably).

I stated we choose to use the same 2400 battery as last year due to the price point I was able to sell it at thanks to Orionís support. I figured price would be very important to all of you. In the end the battery worked out great and everyone was happy.

Well, a few of you have stated to me youíd be happy to pay more for the 3400 to get more punch out of your Miniís and to be able to use the 3400 in future races outside of TCS and for regional races.

My question to you all is, (Iím really afraid to ask) do most of you feel the same way? Do you guys really want the 3400?

Speak up or forever hold your peace.

*I like the idea of a 3400 as the NAF spec battery.

*do you have an aprox. cost breakdown - 2400 vs. 3400?

Considering the "street" price of the 3400 is roughly 2X the 2400........

....them worms are all over the place...

for what is worth, I say 3400. More punch, more run time, and it'll still be a some what competitive pack you can use later on and/or in other vehicles.

Fred: You're a brave man! I saw the rules, thought the same about the 3400, but didn't want to even raise it to avoid any "issues." But since you ask, YES, you have 2 votes from the Weir's, go with the 3400s for Mini. 2400's are one event batteries for us, but if you go with 3400s we can use them for the next year in virtually any class of club racing. We'll be happy either way, but prefer the idea of 3400s for mini. And thanks for asking!

Izzy,

That video is taking forever to load

So far I'm hearing yes to 3400's

I just want you all to be aware, they are twice the price. I would have to sell them for $55.00 maybe $60.00 versus $30.00.

You sure about this?

I agree. The 3400 would be a battery you could use for next years series and for club racing as it is a more punchy battery.

It loaded just fine for me.

Hey Izzy, thanks for the look back on my old Jaccs S2000 concourse winner.

I need to go find that and put it back on display.

PLEASE don't mess with GT2. The 3400 is just fine for that class, thank you. This debate is about mini, so let's keep focused!

1) I have my 2400's from last year's Mini Finals with the security tape still on, does this mean I could use it again in this year's Mini Finals?
2) If the Mini goes to 3400's could I still use my security marked 2400's from last year anyway or would I have to buy a 3400 pack?
3) If I choose to run GT3 instead can I use last years 2400's with the security tape instead of buying a new 3400?

Thanks,
Jeff Smith
