Yup, the Courtyard is a great place to aty- last rate I saw quoted for that weekend was $79 a night. But this year I got a room at the Holiday Inn on La Paz (two more exits down the 5). It was slightly more expensive at $86 a night but worth it, because:
1) That's Where The Fast Guys Stay, and
2) They set up pit tables for the Milwauke Guys out by the pool
the night before qualifying. Sweet!

Yup He is racing in the Past Champ race. There are about 15 people coming from here. It is going to look like Trackside West!

Any of you Tamiya 'insiders' hear anything about entry numbers yet?

The Nats rules say you must enter at least 14 days in advance of the race, but Tamiya has extended the entry deadline another week to the 20th. I'm surprised that they haven't reached the cutoff of 150 entries by now...especially since the event was so big last year.

Looking forward to seeing the list of entries...

Thats the beauty of it. We didnt really have to. It was all set up for us. I gave just a few bucks but nothing outrageous. We brought our lamps out from our room and we were good to go!
