As far as I know the only ones with the brand logo are the $70+ premounts.
They seriously don't have a real way to check what foam people are using. I'm certain that at Scotties people were using non-Tamiya foam. Very certain!
I beat everybody except Randy Bernard with HBR Medium Fronts and Premount Rears. I hope you're not saying Randy was cheating.

I think that would make sense at the Finals if the class was a Japan trip, but at the regionals you should at least be able to run what came in the kit.

Per the confirmation email I received for the race rules, it said the 13.5K silver can motor limit is was for Mini, GT3.

1. Driver check-in is from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. All racers are REQUIRED to
check-in at the TECH Inspection Area during this time. Driver raffle tickets
will be given at this time.
2. Power and tables will be available under the covered pit area. If you
have your own "quite generator", you may bring it if you want to pit
somewhere other than the covered area. If you bring your own EZ-UP and
tables you may set it up Friday afternoon.

3. Controlled class practice will be from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The class
order is as follows: Mini, SPEC, GT-3, GT-2, GT-1 and F-1. Off-road entries
may practice at any time.
4. In the Mini and GT-3 classes the RPM limit of 13,500 will be in effect.
5. In the GT-2 class all racers must submit their LRP 17.5 and Novak 17.5
motors to TECH prior to using them. This will be done prior to the
qualifying heat races. Remember! These motors have to have either the yellow
or orange ring on them! The TECH officials will make sure these motors do
not have advanced timing cranked on them. If they do, you will be asked to
put the motor back to ZERO timing and we will put a seal on the motor
showing that it has been pre-inspected for the regional race. These tags are
not to be removed.
6. All Lipo batteries will be checked for voltage at TECH prior to all heat
races. 8.44 volts is the limit.
7. GT-3, GT-2, MINI and F-1 will run 8 Minute Mains!!!!

F1 was not mentioned in the list of classes, so I will assume their is no motor RPM limit for F1.

Can you confirm?
