There were about 70 Mini's last year in Memphis. This is a video of the top 12 Mini's. Be part of the US largest Mini gathering.
  • hitch a ride
  • carpool
  • share a room
  • call in sick
  • start walking
  • ride your bike
.. just be there if you have a Mini.

Hey guys, this will be the final week you'll be able to purchase a Red Dot motor until late June or early July (Fremont and Omaha drivers, please take note!). We still have a few left, but they are going FAST, and I do not expect to have any motors to bring to Memphis to sell. Take a look at the video in Ed's post above- about half of that A-Main was running Red Dots.

Red Dot motors also powered much of the silver can field at Frederick's 2009 TCS and many of those at Trackside last month as well (yes, even with the RPM limit imposed). They've TQ'd multiple times and been on every silver can TCS podium this year, winning the Mini class BOTH TIMES in the capable hands of RayK.

This same consistent, reliable silver can power can be in your Mini, GT3 or F1 as well- just shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] and we'll hook you up pronto.

... from the Memphis 2008 video archives.

The Hickman Hauler GT3 Road Show

I don't think Bruce liked when brother Steve went for the pass on Lap 2.

To quote our good friend of several posts ago..."NOTSO".

I'm pretty sure that the legal winning motor used by an exceptionally talented driver to win the 2008 Spring Aliso regional event- you remember that one, it had a 15K limit- was indeed a brand new Red Dot loaned to the winning driver by a certain aged Grandfatherly gentleman after the winning driver's initial motor was found to have an additional magnet inside of the can.

Anyway, you really should make the trip to Memphis, Brandon. Excellent drivers, an enormous track, more than 65 Mini entries (!), excellent food, and speeds that are awesome to behold.

I also understand that they have many high-class gentlemens' clubs...

Ed,
Oh yes I remember that race last year I thought I finally had Bruce beat? But he was running that TA05 SS which really is good on those type of tracks like Memphis. I was running my trusty old TB02R with the Yellow Porsche Carrera GT Body which was quite a good car last year! I made the Podiumn last year at every TCS race except the Nationals with that car. The TB02R really is quite competitive in GT3. But really the Hinkley House Of Horsepower Silver Cans really haul the mail, Bruce and I are really looking forward to the "NO RPM LIMIT" rule that is being run at this years Memphis venue! I will be running a TA05 IFS with either the 2007 NSX or the 350 EBBRO Bodies in GT3 this year in Memphis. Really looking forward to racing there this year, those guys really put on a great race and the hospitality is fantastic!
Steve
