To all past chumps, so what do you guys think about the clamp on hex hubs? Last night, I tried to remove the plastic ones and had to resort to using a screwdriver to pry them off, that can't be good.

Any idea on the spec tire and gear ratio?
Nobody else is complaining Rod. Deal with it! Oh, BTW are you taking the whole week off to practice?

Default Evo IV

Is the Evo IV Legal, the rules only say up to Evo III? Isn't the IV too new? I can see the 415 since it has been out for a while.

The Evo IV isn't in the states yet (according to Tamiya USA). The car needs to be available to the public for at least one month before it will be legal for use at an event.

I hope they are. If you can use the original b's. The ones that have been discontinued then you should be able to use b3's. They are avail. at www.rainbowten.co.jp. They take paypal. I purchased some the first week in july. They should be better than the b's or should I say b2 that are out there now.

Rainbow Ten??

in conjunction with Neil's statement, wouldn't they need to be available in the 'States' to be legal for the US Nationals...

The B's are not discontinued that i know of (don't know if they were before) because I just bought 2 sets directly from Tamiya USA HQ a few months back...

Where is Fred Medel when we need him??

Default b's

look inside your tire. does it say BB. If it does guess what, you have b2's. When I called Tamiya to verify my entry they said dont plan on us having tires. I had to order some quick. I tried to get b's from Rainbowten but they cannot get them from Tamiya because they dont exist anymore. Its b3 or a. I love the tamiya races and the idea of semi-spec racing but this tire thing is getting old. Tamiya should have a spec tire for the race or have enough of everything Legal to buy. Maybe I'll run mini instead.

Default as for IV being legal

This is from the US Nats rules page. Last line if GT1.

10. Item #49346 TRF415 LW reversible suspension set may only be used for the TRF 415 and TB EVO III and V.

The 49346 is not available yet to my knowledge. The only place that might have it is Tamiya USA. So there goes the for sale in the US for one month rule.

B3's should be legal as well. If not then I just wasted a ton of cash.

Yeh I did see that line 10. in there, however if you go up further in the rules for GT1 is states all chassis and doesn't even mention the 415 and evo IV. Weird
