No. My follow up is my wife is supportive of my racing and would give me a room if I asked for it. We are in transition of getting a bigger place so who knows, maybe a year or two I will get my wish and will post my own TCS mural. If I raced every week and bought all the latest/newest RC toys then I should be single, which I don't/have not. With marriage you learn about balance and support. Besides my wife is the one asking about TCS dates and marking the calendar and going to some of the events.

I hope I find a wife that likes going to the races. That would be awesome. Kind of Like Jane Sweeny. Supportive too.

When we were dating I made a point in letting her know that I was not quitting the hobby. She made her point that my racing should be limited. Which was a non-issue because it already was. The fun of it is scheduling mini vacations or long weekends around events. Usually most of the local racing she stays home.

I can relate. Once we had kid 3 though it got much more difficult. Now I'm just waiting till they're old enough to race, then I can use the "but honey the kids want to go racing" excuse.

As long as it is not raining. Remember, need to bring your own power to the Aliso Track now on practice days. Should be pretty crowded as it is the last weekend before the regional. I will be sure not to run over your Yellow Suzuki.

Well, with the motor rules now very clear (13K RPM limit on silver cans at 5.0 volts, 13.5's must be ROAR legal meaning on the ROAR list and the specific P/N for the Novak and LRP motors for 17.5), hopefully there will not be to much whining of "but I dind't know my motor was not legal" at the Aliso regional. I say hopefully as you will always have some one try it hoping not to get caught then claiming ignorance of the rule as an excuse. If ignorance of the law / rules can't get you out of a speeding ticket, it should not get you out of a DQ at a TCS race.
