Default a Tamiya Pit Room

A wall mural for the dedicated TCS Racer - you may recognize the venue - my home pit space, a birthday present from my wife, as painted by a friend/artist.

Very, very cool!

Now if it was painted from a picture is it my red Mini that is leading the yellow on the back straight, or is mine the red one going the wrong way in the infield?

Nice setup you have there. I like the peg board. Lots of spare parts. Do you accept PayPal?

You weren't supposed to notice the impending melea on the front straight! I came home to the finished product and had to chuckle about the two way traffic potential - didn't have the heart to break it to the artist of the minor error!

Dave,

I am not sure what I am more impressed with, the cool mural or that awesome pit area.

Enjoy them both knowing there are now many jealous people out there.

Happy Birthday, See ya at the track.

I'm trying to put a name to the faces. I believe that's Dave on the far right, Deven in the black shirt 3rd from the right, Doc in the red shirt and black hat next to the pole.

Is that Brandon on the far left??? And which one is Nathan???

I have a tire question. What do people like insert/prep wise on Type As in sedan? I have heard Muchmore pinks as an option. Any others? Any pre-treatment with sauce etc. ?
Also carpet and asphalt preferences.

Amazing - the first time I saw the guys on the stand, I said to myself - they look familiar - who is who. I don't have all the photos she was working off of, so I'm not sure. Leaves it to the imagination!

No, no, not an error at all. I think melea (sp?) describes most mini races at one time or another.

Great man cave BTW.

On carpet I've been running Sorex 28 premounted and glued.
Then I balence them.
Usually for tire dressing I've been using Blue Sap 'till the bite comes up .. then Jack the gripper. Full rear and all but the outer edge of the front tires.

It seems like I have been there. . .
Nice job by your wife in giving you what you like.
I am still working on just trying to have a space or a room instead of a cubicle.
