Maybe I missed this, but what about the Evo4 conversion? Will that be legal in any of the sedan classes?

That's too bad...Bit it looks like it is safe to assume the Evo 4 upgrade is not GT-2 legal

I think it's good that they are limiting the hopups for GT2 & 3. To me there has never been enough difference between the sedan classes and it seems as though they are paying more attention to it. I would even go as far to say that the sports/supercar bodies should only be run in GT1 and GT2 should be legitimate sedan type bodies. Has anyone seen the Legacy body? I have been trying to find it online and have as of yet been unsuccessful.

Good luck on the TB-02 SS configuration... Not that I'm running it... but I have a couple of friends who are having success with these...

I just got my 415 alittle while ago and i was out of town for the local race at tamiya. do you have to have raced one of the local races to be able to run the finals? I think this is the case but i also thought i saw somewhere on here you could run the finals without having run any of the qualifiers. I cant get enough of running at Tamiya America. I should have got this car a long time ago!

In the past, to qualify for the North American finals, you need to make the top ten in the class you intend to enter at any of the regionals. If you didn't make the top ten, then you can do a walk on at the finals providing that you participated at a regional event. I believe it is being enforced at this upcoming finals.

One minor correction, top ten of the class you ran in the regional.

Neil, It looks like they took down the previous results from the regionals. Someone should ask them to put them back up because old folks like me can't remember what position we finished! I ended up saying "a-main, can't remember the finishing position)

I don't know if any of you noticed, but I think the "new" rule on who gets to participate at nationals if you didn't qualify as a top ten in regionals is somewhat unique:

"... will be allowed to participate on a 'fist' come first serve basis."

Obviously a typo, but it gives new meaning to the term "aggressive" drivers!
