One more thing all you have to do is buy 12 Red dot motors that range from 13,500 - 16,000 rpm at 5 Volts this way on the day of the race when they tell you the limit you just go to your motor box and pick the one that falls within legal limits. So at $45 a piece plus $8 shipping thats "only" $636.00
I am sending you paypal Doc. Plus the $ 216.00 for tires and inserts this is going to be a really cheap season for Regionals.

The Tamiya World Championships are this weekend in Japan.

I am surprised that there are no comments on this thread about Mark Rheinard's and the Tamiya TRF416's great achievements at the 2008 IFMAR Worlds.

Hopefully we can keep AV as the US World Champion testing facility.

The US had only 2 or 3 US driver at the IFMAR Worlds where they run only MOD motors. Hint, hint.

Take a look on YouTube at the A-Main Leg 3. It doesn't get any better than this.

Well.... almost all of the cars out now are great. Seems to me that Marc is the difference between so many world championships and not. Nice work Tamiya yes. But its no quarter for everyone thats not Mr. Reinhardt. Kinda like Jimmy Johnson making it an unpresidented 3 in a row! Hats off to the man. Not so much the car.

Sorry to disappoint you, Swifty, but we are all sold out. Besides, anything less than 15K at 5 volts would wind up in the dumpster anyway.

No more Red Dots until at least January

The U.S. team is in Japan now. Tony and Dylan will be going to the Tamiya HQ today along with Deven and George from Tamiya. Steve and Tom from Canada had not shown up yet. They plan to go to a sushi bar for dinner. Deven said something about using sushi sauce to break in the motors ?

I wonder if they plan on getting dylan drunk. That would be cool seeing Dylan running around Japan all 4'7" of him yelling and screaming profanitys at the locals. I bet they would say watch out here comes that crazy, triple tire stuffin, white kid from the US and his brother the one we got our asses handed to us in horsepower last year.
