NOTE: One race entry per person, but 4WD Off-Road and F103GT may be entered as a second class only.

Thank you TCS Staff. I'll stop complaining now
Seriously though, I applaud you guys for being open minded about the classes. It's good to know that you're willing to listen to our concerns.

Now I'm screwed, I don't have enough tires and wheels

OK, maybe one more suggestion. Hand out silver can with strict RPM rules for F103GT.

It's been 35 years since high school english, but the way I read the rules, F-103GT may be entered as a "second class only", meaning you MUST ENTER a primary class before you can ENTER a second class .

GT-1 & F-103GT for me and the boy.........

Hand out silver can is fine with me. Anything to keep Marty/Sean/Anthony from lapping me twice. Or, just to make it a little more interesting, how about black can handouts? Just kidding... or am I?

F103 second class only? The rules do not state you have to actually drive the first class. Supporting my son in novice is my "first class" anyway. Keeping 3 cars race ready would not leave me any time to just enjoy the event.

NO black cans please.

I'm sure the rules meant that F103GT and 4WD off-road are your only choices for a 2nd class.

Basically they won't allow you to run GT1 and GT2 or GT1 and mini...its like getting two tickets for the after race raffle. They don't want you to double your chances of winning.

Anyone notice the rule changes today?

"F103GT Rules
By popular demand direct drive racing comes to the Finals once again with the world famous F103GT. F103GT will also use Spec batteries and motors available at the event site.

A. Team Orion will be the official spec battery supplier for the 2008 final. The battery for F103GT is the new Team Orion Experience 2400 Li-Po SLPB 20C battery."

"3. 2008 finals F103GT Motor rules: The Silver Johnson 540J Motor will be used for racing. A maximum of two motor fans are allowed."

I would have to say Glen Burnie did an amazing job to step up and take over the Laurel race.

As far as regional races go, I think it was the best one I had ever been to! ! !

They worked as a team, did 3 rounds of qualifying running 14 heats at 2 hours a round!

I hope that Tamiya can continue to keep GB MD as an official site for years to come! ! ! They would get my vote!

F103GT will have the same RPM limits as all the other handout classes
You don't have to run a first class to run Buggy or F103GT. You may enter those as your one and only class if you'd like.
GT-1 guys should note we had to change the GT-1 spec battery to the Orion 3400. Not every racer has upraded their 415 to a 416 and it takes more modding to make the 3800 fit a 415. It has concerned some so the 3400 has a dip which makes it easy for all concerned. Peace
