Thx,
Steve.
Steve,

I'm hoping I can have it up and ready to run on by 1100-1130, but I don't want to promise anything earlier than noon because the track arrival time for Saturday is out of my hands, and with it being a new layout, sometimes it takes a little while before I get board lengths, etc. perfect. It will definitely be there early on Sunday with a minor change to the layout for Sunday. Believe me, if I could have the track ready to practice on at 10 AM on Saturday I would. If possible, I'd suggest arriving early anyway. That way you guys can have all of your stuff set up and ready when the track is done. I'll be there at 9AM.

Ray,

When I was there Thursday there were a few sets left. I'd guess about 6-8 sets (of 4). I also asked them to order more tires, wheels and inserts just in case. I'm pretty sure that order was placed and should arrive sometime this week, so we should be okay.

What do you know about Jerk chicken? Was thinking about it. We have to support the fund raisin' cookout by Final Thought Racin' Club.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showpost...ostcount=12448

Jerk Chicken and Red Stripe is a rough combination. The more you eat, the more you drink. I doubt you will be able to make it up on the driver's stand come Sunday morning.

Anyway, I have a friend that has the best Jerk Chicken restaurant located in College Park - called the Jerk Pit. If the fund raisin' food runs out and everyone gets the munchies, I could time my friend to make a run from College Park in his 500 HP (to the wheels) Evo.

Finals rules are here!

The Good: Very low RPM (and I assume torque) Black Can limits in GT2
The Bad: No Tamtech Porsche class? Please, Please, Please ...
The Ugly: So, what are those Black Can numbers? I gotta wait?

Tamiya staff,

For the Finals, in GT2, All Tamiya sedan/rally/sports car bodies are legal for GT-2. This means Ferrari and NSX are legal ?

We will be announcing the RPM limit numbers at a later date, but trust me they will be very low. Sadly the TamTech classes ran out of interest this past season and we made the decision to cut it from the Finals.

Yes due to the IFS body selection (i.e. the new NSX), we are doing away with the body rules. You can now run any Tamiya body other than the Subaru Legacy bodies.

Default TCS F103 RIP

The TCS final is not including the F103!??

So, if I was in the top 10 in the F103, does that qualify me for a spot in the finals in another class? I guess I could join the in mini masses. The 1/10 Off-road class is looking kind of interesting.
