So what are the advantages/disadvantages of the Orion 3200 lipo pack in Mini? Are 4600 NiMH batteries better?
Do the lipos make a difference in car handling/acceleration/performance due to weight?
Which has done better at the TCS races?

Advantages are primarily the cost inthe long run. You really only use one at a race. Can't beat the convenience of use and the longevity of lipos. Another overlooked advantage is since it's lighter you can adjust handling by moving weights around the Mini.
Primary disadvantage is that you need to get a charger that will charge a lipo properly. Another hassle is finding lead weights thin enough to work. The best ones I've found are from Parts Plus. Part # TAW 7026. Unfortunately you have to buy the whole blasted box.
Most of the guys running fast are using lipos here in California

i hope people know that team orion will not warrany any batteries that are charged incorrectly. any lipo charger will not over charge a battery they always peak at 8.4 volts. any overcharge will greatly damage a battery the first time you do it.

Yea, stuff is usually fast when it is sent here. Sometimes it takes longer to get something from Illinois than it does California.

Just the info that I needed. Thanks, Grandpa.
How long can the li-pos (Orion 3200) run on a charge? We run 15 minute mains so run time is important.

My Orion 3200 need 900 to 1000ma to recharge. Don't know if that means I used that much though. Incidentally, that's with a silver can motor. You're probably safe. You might PM MrDevinWhite to get a definitive answer.
