DC is right between Virginia and Maryland. A lot of people who work in DC lives in Virginia and vice versa.

It's good to place a face with a name. I didn't check, how did you do?

Ahhhh.. I C..

well in that case.. Just want to commend Todd on his win.. I met him at the race and we chatted a couple times during day... seemed like a cool person..

He drove a good race, and kept pushing even when he knew the odds were against him.. And in the end, came out victorious..
.. good 'ish in my book!!..

when you see him please pass the props on to him... from Orlando..

Neil Rabara

I ended up finishing 2nd in the c (for carnage) main. I was using a GM V12 esc and the thing had absolutely no squirt, so I just did the best I could with it in qualifying, but I knew my car was really slow. Out of desperation, I soldered on a couple power caps and the car was much better in the main. I guess you could say that I'm a believer in power caps now! Oh well, I'll be ready for August.

What caps were you using? Did you use one or two.

Thanks,

Coop

I used two of the Novak 4700uf caps wired in parallel. That was all I had access to at the track. The hard part is trying to shoehorn them into an F201.

Where are your loyalties son?

Besides, the odds are never against you when you're racing me. I know how to build them pretty decent, I just haven't learned the driving part yet.

Todd is a nice guy and a good driver, though.

I certainly didn't mean to imply anything about your age or anything...besides, we're probably pretty much the same age anyways.

I'm not really sure what you're getting at with the "respect" thing. He's obviously a better driver than I am...I could have told you that before the race...LOL

My car worked better than his, I just don't have the driving experience he has.

THANKS ORLANDO YOU KNOW WHAT THE REAL DEAL IS. AINT NOTHING CHANGED IN ALL THESE YEARS.CHEATERS NEVER PROSPER. THAT GUY HAD THE FASTEST SPEC CAR I'VE EVER SEEN. HE PULLED NINE CAR LENGTHS ON ME IN ONE STRAIGHT AWAY .
I BORROWED ONE OF THE BEST SMC BATTERY PACKS I'VE SEEN IN A WHILE AND THE MOTOR WAS DYNO-ED THE BEST OUT OF 35 4 SLOT 540 MOTORS MABUCHI NOT JOHNSON.

KEEP IT REAL. PEACE

C'mon man...If I was cheating, it's news to me. If you want the motor and the batteries I had, PM me and I'll try and get them for you. The batteries are some of the "team spec" Fukuyamas and the motor was borrowed from one of the guys in the pits.
Hell, I'll sell you the whole car if you want.

I saw a "cheater" motor earlier in the day (the one they took from the mini guy) and I looked pretty close at the one I had...and it looked untouched at least to my "been racing (occasionally) for 1 year" eyes.

I didn't call you a cheater when you pulled me bad on the straight the first round...and I can assure you that my car is at least as free as any TL on the planet. You killed me the first round and I had some 1.9X batteries....I guess you must have been cheating that round, because you went almost a half a mile per hour faster.

It's kinda messed up that I must be a cheater, just because you got pulled on the straight. It's been my experience that cheaters tend to be the most suspicious of other people cheating.

Maybe if you thought I was cheating, you should have said something at the time, so that they could look at the car and I would at least have a chance to clear my name. Oh yeah...I guess it would look bad for you to protest a novice, especially when you beat him.

I DID SAY SOMETHING TO YOU I SAID YOU HAD THE FASTEST SPEC CAR I'VE EVER SEEN AND I WOULD GIVE YOU 500 DOLLARS FOR THAT MOTOR AND BATTERY. IF YOU WERE'NT CHEATING FINE I'VE JUS NEVER SEEN ANY HORSE POWER LIKE THAT IN SPEC CLASS BEFORE. YOUR CAR LOOKED LIKE A 19T COMPARED TO MY CAR . I LOVE GRODGE MATCHES. WASSUP SEE YOU IN AUGUST, CHEATER.
