I think a 3 set rule would be perfect.

3 qualifiers, triple A mains for Aliso (for now).

No tire set limit for regionals.

Stayed tuned on our website, the new rules revision will be up soon (hopefully). We will be making a change in another class, it will make things very interesting.

Default mini lipo rules

Will the Orion 3600 carbon cased Lipo(same round edges) be legal for TCS Mini as well? I think they stopped making the 3200 Lipo.

thanks for any info.

Default Mini Lipo rules

May have answered my own question...3200lipo are made to stick pack specs(17.5mm) and the 3600lipo has a larger rounded edge diameter(22mm). Don't have a 3600lipo to check if it fits in a Mini. Looks like 3200lipo are still being produced.

The 3600 won't fit a mini. Only the 3200.

We've been running the 3200 in mini herre locally for a year and it's awesome...but you do need to add a couple ounces of weight.

No EP4200s or ENER-G 4600s on the approved battery list?

It's quite impossible to list every battery variation.

General rule of thumb listed in the TCS rules is a "hobby grade" battery pack. IB, EP, GP, etc. Otherwise, we just set the max capacity rating (IIRC, 4600maH).

As for that Mazda Furai above, we can't really hook up a car that is a one-off.
