Heard some interesting news on Saturday at the Coliseum:
* Nobody has heard back from Tamiya and they are assuming that they did not get a date for the 2008 TCS season
It was not one of the venues on the invisible list.

It is what it is.

I guess I honestly have a stupid question for either larry or fred. Why isn't the TT-01R allowed in the spec class. From my research that I have been doing there really isn't a difference between the TT-01 and the R. I know the motor and pinion are different(wrong). There is a 61 tooth spur included with the kit. Besides them two things which can be changed why couldn't it run. All the hop-ups that you are allowed to buy for spec are already included. If you buy the basic audi kit with all the upgrades allowed it is almost 180.00. I know to get the r with the correct pieces and a body is about 200.00. Besides those things that I posted is there really an advantage to the R version. I am not trying to start anything what so ever. I am getting this for my fiancee and she would like to run weekly races as well as the tcs. I know personally getting the extra gears would help. I love the series I am just really curious feel free to pm or send me an email. Thanks for doing such a great series.

Peace Aaron(W-W)

Ok, no location listed; is this the Aliso Viejo track?
If so then it's early this year; past years has been end of summer.

How does track like TRACKSIDE handle the "RALLY" and "4X4 Buggy" event..? I know for sure TRACKSIDE will run the RALLY class (it is a well known unofficial class for them) but will that be a 4x4 Buggy Class there..?

The header is wrong....

Home > Tamiya Championship Series (TCS) > 2007 Schedule

But below it has...

TCS 2008 Schedule

6 races on the schedule..... This looks like the last year that Tamiya will be having the TCS race series....

I wondered that too. How do we sign up for Rally?

Also, did you notice Tamtech Gear is listed as a class? Is that the Porsche/Ferrari Cup cars, or the mini buggies? I'd love to get more use out of my TTGear Porsche!

Rally is usually a bonus class a Trackside. You sign up for it at the track during the weekend of the race. Because you are only allowed to race 2 TCS classes sign up for Rally is done at the track to allow you to run it as a 3rd class.
