I like the new rules for GT-2. Brushless 13.5 and Orion/Peak Lipos. A great combination for fair and competitive racing. It about time. This is one Tamiya race series that I would look forward to.

Good luck. Have to drop all liquids greater than 3oz in the trash can long before they ever open my bags and raise their eyebrows

Guess that rules the Core 5000 out.

February 8, 9 & 10, 2008 is the 1st race at Trackside.

Don't shoot the messenger, its one of those deals, it is what it is.

It has been that way for years, maybe past few years has gotten worse. Does it make planning easier, not really I know it makes it harder for me to plan for and get ready for events, with late rules and late schedules.

Although with other race series competition on the horizon maybe things will change. I could have benifited from rules coming out within 1 month after the nats, especially with 2008's big changes.

It is what it is.

I agree with A-Ko. At least they could have posted a partial schedule. This would allow people to plan ahead. But, that's the way it is.

And people bitched at me because I brought up the fact that Tamiya had not posted a schedule yet.....

Heard some interesting news on Saturday at the Coliseum:
* Nobody has heard back from Tamiya and they are assuming that they did not get a date for the 2008 TCS season
* Word is they may put on an all-Mini race like the Mini Mayhem event- blind draw motors each round, handout batteries, the works. Maybe in March. That would be awesome- it's a GREAT Mini track!

why not just bite the bullet and do a mini race using the Brushless 17.5 motors, I think that would be a better equalizer over a blind draw. At the Novak this year you really saw what a mini can do in the hands of a top driver. Justin Zorc was smoking everybody.
