Any word or how can I email/PM about opening up the Lipo and motors to other brands.

Core Lipo and Speed Passion BL Motors please. Again if Orion's are allowed you might as well allow the company that pretty much makes them or is the same...ala Speed Passion.

We are only going to allow Lipo batteries with hard cases, and we will update the alloweed batteries as more companies come out with batteries that are designed in this way.

The brushless is much the same, and as we become more aware of other brushless companies, we will test and update the rules accordingly. We are aware that the company that provides brushless motors to LRP also makes them for Orion, Checkpoint and dozens of others. We need to find out what companies are being provided with what before simply allowing any and all brushless companies in our rules.

That is great to hear. Especially now that Reedy and others are releasing hard cased lipos.

From what I know this is what's out there...

Orion/Peak 4800, 3600, 3200
Core 5000
Reedy 5000...release Jan08 I think
Trinity 4500

Maybe others but I think those are the most popular hardcased Lipos available.

Carl,

the SC430 Lexus body will be the hot body again this year unless you have the IFS suspention then it will be the new 350R body. Those would be my guess.

Hey Paul! Are you going to try to make Memphis this year, or is that just too far of a drive? I'm holding out for another southeast TCS (FLA or GA), but no word yet.

Yo Doc, I've already started running the mini on the carpet at SIR. I may be with you (no sedan). The mini's work really well on this surface, it's going to be fun.

Sadly, I will not be at SIR this year to defend my Mini title. We'll be hiking at Yosemite all week and then spending a few days in Napa.

MMmmmmm Lexo.......Homer want.......
Marge says you can buy it if you behave yourself and stay away frm the DOHnuts
