Why is it they can't just release the rules/dates in a timely fashion and at the same time? Bring on Brushless!

Unhappy TCS race!

Fred,
Is the track going to be open this weekend? Either way post it here on this thread! FRED >>>>>>FRED>>>>>> Can you here me? I'm having RC withdrawls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It seems TCS date for Seattle isn't going to work for Tim and me. His spring break starts the following weekend. He can't afford to miss any school!

You should have seen the look in his eyes when he saw that...I think the whole school girl thing is the tip of the iceberg for Linger.

I always just call 'em to make sure they'll be open when I THINK of going. Note I said "THINK," I never actually get to go, lately.

Oh, as of Wednesday they said, "yes," they'll be open.

The rules are posted the rules are posted............................
http://www.tamiyausa.com/articles/ln...es%20wLogo.pdf

Fred, I have a question abpout the spec class. We talked about it last year and you said you would change the rule. If both the TT01 and the TL01 run the 19 tooth pinion the TL01 will have an advantage over the TT01. The TL01 with the 19 tooth pinion has a FDR of 7.93 where as the TT01 with the 19 tooth pinion has an 8.63 FDR. Can you amend the rule to allow the TT01 to run a 20 tooth pinion which then brings the TT01 FDR 7.96 which is more fair. Last year the TL01 were just blowing by the TT01.

Thanks,
Larry

Thanks Larry. And thanks Tamiya Fred and Larry for getting these out now.

It's much appreciated for us Trackside racers.

Looks like the Tamtech Porsche/Ferrari Cup cars didn't make the cut.

Any hint to what venues will be running the 4WD off-road buggy class?

Will Trackside still have the Rally class if they run the off-road buggy class?

Fred rules!!!!
Fred for President!!!!!
I think it is safe to say that TCS is entering a new era. I now have true justification to buy the brushless system, as well as pick up 1 or 2 more LiPo packs. Let the Trackside prep begin.
Looks like I will run GT2 and F103GT, its nice to see that they are giving it a chance.
Marty,
your top plate is going in the mail tomorrow, you should see it by mid next week.

The rules look fantastic for this next year. Though, I do wish they'd allow LiPo in the Mini classes but I'm not going to complain. Brushless and LiPo being brought into the fold this quickly absolutely rocks.
