Wife gave me the O.K. to start practicing as much as possible. Ling built me an awesome car. Should be fun!

Sounds like the Trophy girls will be the easy part. Keeping guys on their cars could be an issue. Ooh I think you just added to Tamiya's Sales figures for '08

Take a look in the NW forum here. There is a NWIC thread that has some pics posted a page or 2 back. I think there were some in the SIR thread also.

We had the first night last night to a great success. Had 28 entries all but 1 or 2 were new drivers to racing. Some had been on the fence, practice alot but no racing. Heard alot of good times had by all. Post up if you are planning on coming in. Sounds like we are getting a guest appearance from Marty in a few weeks when he is out for business.

Devin, Fred said that he had an ancient stock motor lathe for TCS world when we were prepping Juan Gayzer Aveytia for the GT class. Can you coordinate with Fred and grab it from him? You're a couple hundred miles closer than Juan.

Hey Max - track was open, too bad you did not wander down. The air quality was better than San Dimas on a regular day.

2008 rules - I heard it was LIPO and brushless for all classes. Unless the schedule posted prior is correct, then I guess it's silicone for all classes ?

Well looks like I better start getting ready for Japan. I just received a phone call from Nike confirming there sponsorship as well as Red Bull and Old Spice Deodorant.

Thats right I will be competing in the 2008 Turn Marshalls Worlds event. There will be some tuff competition out there but I will be representing the USA and I promise to bring back the gold from those short fast little asian turn marshalls they have out there in the Pacific Rim.

Devon maybe we can sit in the same row together.

Cya then

Dan,
Awesome Track! what is the tire of choice RP30's and in Tamiya B3 or A's?
I will let you know when Bruce and I will show up for "Silver Can Saturday Night"
How does "Jack the Gripper" work? I bet it is a lot smoother with the carpet laid down? can't wait to try it out!!
Steve.

Most have been running Sorex 28's due to a Nw championship we have running at about 5 tracks in the area. Not sure on 30's but they should be good also. As for Tamiya's your guess is as good as mine. The Tamtech kit slicks have been pretty good though......

We are a Jack track only, we don;t allow any mixing of compounds. It smoothed things a touch but not that much

Was curious why did SIR go from blacktop to carpet?

Seemed like it would have been easier to maintain the BT. I did see the new picts but saw nothing on SIR's website about it.
