Point taken again I would just like to see you guys have a fair race instead of someone taking all of the fun out of it. I wish everyone a great weekend at nats and I will see you guys next year for TCS 2008. My money is on John Christensen, Mickey Cohen, John Balatico, Brandon Koslosky, or Doc Mertes.

I would say the same thing to Deven and still feel he should be able to compete in Mini even if he was able to dominate every race over the last year.

To me, TCS is for non sponsored racers, period.

If a racer is able to gain an advantage by honing their skills by running pack after pack, working on set-ups and buying the best equipment (even at a discount) on their own, more power to them. As we all know, there are no sure things in racing.

Mini is just as competitive at the nationals as any other class running. IMO, skill level should have nothing to do with which class you choose or are told to run in for this event. No one has won he National title by luck. You have to be on your game like never before. You need to be able to adapt to every variable thrown at you and avoid mistakes. Just ask all of us that have been close, but no cigar. We were all out driven.

Good luck to Deven and everyone competing this year. This will be an event to witness and savor for years to come. now, Let's have a big party with a bit of racing thrown in....

BTW, where are the standings?

In all of this confrontation I think we've missed an important little factoid: WHO OWNS ORION/PEAK NOW? Why would we run Orion/Peak packs at a TAMIYA event? Or am I missing something???

I sure hope DW is running mini again. He's a great competitor who is not only fast, but will help you with setup info and other little go-fast secrets (to a point of course). I know he helped me out with a few things my first year out there, and I was scrapping it out with him in the A-main.

TWO WEEKS!

How is Devon racing in Mini going to take the fun out of nationals for anyone? Having Devon race adds legitimacy to the class this year. It's kinda like having Troy, Weir, and Devon run last year. If you don't like Devon running and thing that someone needs to prevent him from winning it's time to nut-up and put a car of your own on the track or shut up

Does anyone else think he is being punished for some small thing because he is open and honest while we know there are many other guys running GT3, GT2, and Mini that are in the same position if not better? Hopefully I will drop by Gyro and talk with Deven

Wow...No love for Devin huh? Hope things work out for him.

Mini IMO is just another discipline of racing. If you think it's ANY easier then Touring to run, you've never run Mini at the nationals level.Although a couple guys who win nats in the past, doesn't really give legitimacy to a class,I think the close racing and skill it takes to race these pregnant roller skates fast does and it's anyones game this year.Last year was awesome as far as competition. The stakes were upped and everyone brought their game and the best guy won. It' will be the same this year. I certainly don't plan to lose...but who does? Good luck to everyone.

By the way cheydog, who the hell do you think you are? Are you going to be at the nats? Why would you cause problems for someone when it doesn't directly affect you? I dont know Devon, but it doesnt sound to me like he falls into the sponsorship rule. Quit causing trouble for this guy and everyone else. Its bad enough that the TA track is closing, we dont need you tainting the event with your b______t
