Dan,
Please check your sources. In 1992, when Gary was a young teenager, with a mullet no less, I meet him during my first vist to an RC track. Within the first few moments of the conversation I was BRUTALLY subjected to his attempt at jokes and excuse for wit. (well I guess dim IS a type of wit)

And there you have it... I can see the slogan now for my home track...
"Trackside, where RC racers have been putting up with Katzers goofball wit, since 1992"

BTW, Were you at table number five for the "BP we were at ROAR Nats in '04 and they put Mayo on his burger at a local restaurant" incident? I imagine it went something like this in the kitchen... Ham on five, hold the mayo...

I say Tamiya should keep the batteries a secret until Friday, August 24th.

I'm fine with that as long as they guarantee we'll be using SPEC batteries that are purchased at the event. 2400's, 3300's, 3700's, or even 1400's are fine with me as long as they are SPEC for everyone.

I would like to think I've bought my last super-go-fast IB4200 that won't last more than a few races. Next year I vote for Lipos for mini!

If you're going to insult me, at least get the spelling and punctuation correct.

Default Thanks!

Boomer... thanks for sharing. This is the first time I saw the middle pic. I'm sure "nobody" will recognize me, Jasper and Paul_D standing on the left side. We were so thin then... Oh yah, I remember that cool looking Celica sitting on the front row 2nd from the left too...

Good time to post old pics now that Tamiya is closing... hope this starts a trend. These definitely ARE memories to last a lifetime!

1. The oil shocks are different lengths while the stock friction are the same Am I looking at the right oil shocks? (#40513, they aren't listed in the spare parts or hop ups on the parts web-site)
2. Are the stock tires any good? hop up tires are not in stock. Do you think the mini slicks (#53222, not 60D) be legal?
Thanks.

And you still have hair!!! How's it going bud? Good luck at Nats... and Izzy said to leave those short wheelbase TA04 suspension arms at home. Your TA05 won't need 'em.
