Maybe that's why it works so poorly. Last time I checked it required 8 of them.

Just listening to you praddle on is enough to solve enven the toughest case of insomnia
Please see above regarding the target rich environment. By my count, that's about a 12.5% error rate.

Katzer, you've just GOTTA come to the Nats. Wouldn't be the same without you...

Three weeks and counting.

Will Katzer show?
Will we ever find out what batteries we're going to run?
Will Marty find yet another loophole in the rules?
Will we get 20 GT-01 cars on the track at one time?
Will the magic smoke once again find its way out of these black can motors?

Only time will tell...................

Anyone besides me notice that the Nats page was 'updated' last night around 8pm EDT? Only thing I can see is that maybe they added some racers to the listing.

Otherwise...batteries?

Um, the Spektrum DX3R only uses 4 batteries

I know it wouldn't be the same...people would have fun and have one less moving chiccane to pass.

BP we were at ROAR Nats in '04 and they put Mayo on his burger at a local restaurant. Katzer had to send it back for the "Waiting"(movie) special. Ever since then we have just had to give him a ration of ____ about it. One year he even used it as inspiration for his Concours car.

Learn something new every day.

But we still love you, in a manly kind of way.
No, not that way, like a fraternal kind of way. Well, no, not like a fraternity.
Like family. No, not like that kind of family.
More like a bunch of goofy guys who have been doing stuff together for years and years and give each other a hard time. Yeah, like that.
So, we'd miss you if you didn't come to the Nats.

So Doc you are saying you would like to hold the mayo. ?!?!?

Any word on the "National Ranking System" used for the Pre-Sort?
(not to be confused with re-sort)

Since batteries seem to be an issue maybe they should allow you to only check in 2 batteries to be used for the event with labeling that gets destroyed when taken off.
