Yeah. He works at a local tv station in the Bay Area. He's filmed races in the past too. I think he just does it for fun. It has nothing to do with the station.

Neil, shoot me an email and I'll send you the pix that I took. I have a few from the concourse, building of the track and the winner pose photos. Since TA's pix were pretty small and they like to chop off people's heads (like mine!)

I sent you an email, I think I called you by a different name by accident.

Hehe. No worries. I've been called worse. Most of these pix are over 1mb, so I guess I'll need to send you them one or two at a time.

Racing got done right around 6pm. Awards ceremony was complete by 7:30pm, that's when we headed south for the long journey home.

Hey guys, something happened over the weekend to one of the Seattle Boys and I figured to let folks in. 2002 Mini National Champion Dan Garber (Difuser on RC Tech)was in a motorcycle accident this past weekend. He's going to be fine, but he lost control and took a pretty nasty fall. He ended up breaking his right leg, he has several fractures in his right foot, torn ligements in his left knee, and some expected road rash. He's already surgery on the right leg where they installed a rod, and they will try to set the ligiments tomorrow in the left knee. I am going to bring a get well card to Trackside for his friends to sign, and I will leave it there till next week before sending it out. He's going to be OK, but he's a hurting puppy right now. I have set up an e-mail address for those of you who may want to send get well wishes. [email protected] I will forward on messages to his regular e-mail, I just didn't want to post his personal e-mail without his permission.

We... TAOB (he knows who we are...) wishes him a fast recovery... he's a fit guy, we're pretty sure he'll be okay!!!

Dan, if you read this... please just play r/c from now on... it's much safer (a lot safer than riding your bike and driving rally cars...)

Get well buddy...

Man, that sux to hear about Difuser. I hope he heals up fast and is able to regain full mobility. I always hate to hear about a rider going down (being a rider myself) and even more so when there is serious injury involved. I wish him speedy recovery and hopefully he'll be back on 2 wheels soon.

Dan is cool, he introduced himself to me at the Nats last year. Really nice guy. I hope he gets well soon.

Default Binary 2 Stock Motor

Is the Binary 2 Stock Motor legal for the GT2 class in the TCS races?

The rules state that you must use a ROAR legal motor. At present, that motor is not ROAR legal (regardless of what the package says) and this is the way it was handled at the NorCal TCS. I would expect that the Binary motor will be illegal throughout the season.
