Unhappy

Sad news about the track closing (and Tamiya moving)... I've had my best r/c experiences at that track. PERIOD! And, I'm already missing it like the rest of you.

Did anybody else realize this is the 13th season of TCS? Darn, 13 is such a bad number...

Hoping to run there at least one more time... thanks for the update Fred.

I have some of my best racing memories (and some of my most heart broken racing memories) at the Tamiya track. And I believe that's what will make me miss that track even more I also made some of the best racing friends at the Tamiya track, and saw some of the most spectacular racing action there as well (Reedy Race, KO Races, and of course all the TCS races...) I'm certainly going to miss that gorgeous track...

Best of luck to Tamiya USA and its staff

I just received my Alfa mo4 and all the hop ups from tower the day i heard about Tamiya moving or closing or what ever. I'll wait before I start the build until I hear a more definite news about the TCS.

I competed at the very first Tamiya race at the Long Beach Convention Center. I will truely miss racing at the TA track.

Freddy, good luck
I guess you heard about THP, it is all a very sad story.

Cliff if they brought back real cars (F1 103) I just might have to dust off the old gear and find a way out there.

If you bring yours, I will bring mine and Kail is already going to bring his.

It would be good to see you back out there again since you ended it. (old cars I mean)

Hi Fred, Thanks for the update - Greatly Appreciated.

The southern California racers were very fortunate to have the Tamiya facility to race at for so many years, easily the best place to race in the country, and you and your staff at Tamiya, simply the best.

I was disapointed when I heard the news about the track closing. Last year I just started to get my young son (8yrs) into TCS racing. We were very excited at the prospects for this year, and especially the thought of annual TCS racing in the future - this is a great event for a father and son to share together. I certainly hope you and Tamiya will be able to continue on with the TCS race tradition for many years to come, (I also have a 4 yr coming up who is currently learning to drive his RC car).

What ever the future holds for Tamiya, TCS, you and your staff, I just want to say thank you for great racing memories and hospitality over the years. Best of luck.

Default The last race ever at TA should be....

A return of the King of the Hill Race. I think it would only be fitting...

I don't think Mike Judge would let Hank, Bobby and Dale get out of their contracts . . .

Uh No that is Pedro before we dropped him off at Home Depot for losing. (had to be there to understand the tasteless racial profile there.)

The warehouse won't be Tamiya's, they will contract it out.
