This all came down on Friday and with a substantial reduction in staff I think their is a form oc chaos around the office today. I know last night after TCS Fred had commented that he would be going to the office as soon as his flight landed.
Give TA some time and I am sure they will post what the plans for TCS etc is. For those who bought tickets etc. I guess I would be happy that they have not folded the series up and cancelled it. You can always change your flight dates and times.....

Downsizing sucks, been there a few times.
Although the funny thing you will not hear me say is; "Since the Tamiya track is closing no need for my 415 MRE, looks like I will be selling it soon." Theres dedication for ya. . .

Maybe things get better and TCS Racing will have better opportunities in the near future. If not, I still have my red and blue tamiya blankie to get me through the night. . .

Don't sell it just yet there is a posibility of the TCS NA finals being at Trackside. So the race could be closer than you think.

Sounds like another great wekend of racing
I am planning on running the Nats no matter where they are. It would be nice to have one last hurrah at Aliso, but if it's not meant to be then so be it, it has been a god run. I will wait to buy tickets though and feel for the few that already have them in hand. All tis goings on starts to figure into why it took so long to get the info for this season. I really hope that the key folks that took care of us for so many years during Nats week make it through with their jobs intact. These are some of the nicest, most knowledgable, and most patient people I have had the pleasure of doing business with, and I hope to see them again soon.

April 14th is less than a month away, and if you're planning to attend the TRF race at The Coliseum, you might want to check this out: http://www.htufrederickmd.com/TRF_Race.htm The entry form is at the bottom of the page. Click on that, print and fill out, and then mail it in. This race is FILLING UP FAST! So you might want to get this entry form in as soon as possable. Remember, The owner is giving out kits just like the TCS races do, so you don't want to miss this!

THIS JUST IN.....
I talked to Fred last night and he said there is still a chance the Nats. Will be held at Tamiya. The higher ups have told him to keep the track open until the land is sold and because of the corporate involvement with selling the land it could take a while to sell it. Meaning that Tamiya may still own the land by Nationals time and if so will hold it at the track. So cross your fingers and your toes.

If this is indeed the last Nats held at Aliso (and I believe it will be) I will make the trip, camera in hand and ready to take lots of pics. It would be cheaper for me if the race did go to Trackside, but there is something about the voyage to the west coast that makes it worth it.

Question,
Did Fred change the rule regarding gearing for the Spec Class allowing the TT01 to run a 20 tooth pinion to be at the same FDR as the TL01 (or at least closer then .4 diference when they both run the 19 tooth)? He said at Trackside that he would change that for the rest of the series this year?
