Default General question

I was in the market for an new tcs car. I was looking at the tb02r and it seems to be a good value.

However I was reviewing the rules and you can not use the adjustable motor mount???? This seem pretty odd as all the other evo parts are legal. Anyone have any idea why?

What spur/pinion combos would I need to purchase to have a good range of tuning for gt1 and gt2?

Thanks

Jamie

First off TB02R is not for Spec.

As for the motor mount from the EVO, the mount can not fit in the tub of the TB02. The only other way is to modify parts.
if you are looking at a TB02R I would strongly recomend the TA05R due out here in the next few weeks.

See "RACE FORMAT" rule #2 in the TAMIYA published rules.

http://www.tamiyausa.com/tcs_races/rules.php

TCS Regional Race Format

1. There must be at least 5 participants in each respective class for the class to be run.
2. All races are 5 minutes in duration.

Fred may have an issue with 6 min heats.....

I don't think he will, as long as all participants understand that the races at the Finals are 5 minute heats
BTW why do you care, your not coming out to race, are you?
