And beginning in June 2007 there will be a direct flight from Seattle to Milwaukee on Midwest Airlines (best care in the air, choc. chip cookies, etc). I know I'm planning in making the journey to Seattle for the TCS 2008 - how about some commitments from the SEA/SIR guys to visit MKE for 2008 as well.

Of course, you could come visit us for the Stock Rubber Nationals next month as well - great format of heads up racing much like the Reedy Race format, seans only, stock motors only, rubber tires only - 1 big class. See WWW.trackside.com for an entry blank.

At Trackside we had a "Special" Rally Race. We had about 30 entries in that class alone. You wanna talk about smiles? The drivers stand was all smiles as were the specatators. I talked to many people after the race and they want to get their hands on one for next year.

Here is a compilation of the rally class.Click Here

See you next year

Excellent job BOOMER!

Just in case you didn't mention it earlier, the big sweeper that you see the cars drifting through was subject to "intermittent rain" during each race courtesy of a garden sprayer. The cars would hook up on the dry parts of the infield and then come to the wet and "rainy" part of the course at the end of the straight through the sweeper. I don't know if Boomer got any ground level video of the cars drifting through the sweeper, with full opposite lock on the steering - way too cool.

Here's the best shot I got at the sweeper. It shows the "intermittent" wetness of the sweeper.

The car in the background is coming up to the sweeper. The blue Subaru is sliding through it at about a 90 degree angle.

Doc,
What do you think of the SIR layout photos? looks tight but quick and you will need to keep the Roll Speed up in the corners? I am getting in @ 7pm on Thursday night from Dulles on United. I have a lot more track time with Indoor Asphalt running at the "C" the last few month's I was a little disappointed with my performance @ Trackside 9th in the GT2 A Main overall.
See ya in Seattle.

Does anyone have a few decent shots of the concourse winners from Trackside? I forgot to pack the camera. Go figure, a photog forgets his camera!

Thanks.

We do not know.
They will be sent to us. There was an issue at the maker of the shirts.
