Well Birthday Boy, Joker Jeff , Mr. Scott at Trackside usually sets the qualifying grid by drivers abilities. Not to sure what Uncle Freddie has planned because I have not talked to him in the last 15 or so hours. The next time he calls me for advice, I will assuradly pass on your suggestion.

Smarty Marty

what ever...

Don't tell anyone, but I heard Mini's ROCK. There may be a surprise driver or two in the Mini ranks @ tracksdie this year. It is just a matter of days away...

My guess is everyone is out wrenching, painting and planning for the upcoming season and is too busy to troll the net.

I should be gluing tires and cycling batteries, but instead I'm typing away. Oh well, I've still got a weekend to pull everything out of hibernation and pack it up for the big trip up north.

So Marty, how's the weather going to be up there next weekend?

Why yes, Martin, they do rock. That's why all of the most socially acceptable people drive them.

But "tracksdie"? Slip of the keyboard, or portent of evil?

I understand that "Big Daddy Boomer" will post pictures of the the upcoming circuit layout for the 1st TCS Race @ Trackside soon. So be on the lookout, Bruce has been racing there lately and says the traction is awesome with the new carpet that Scotty has laid down. Really looking forward to GT2 and GT3 with the new Setup on the TA05. This year's race should be a real shootout in all classes, maybe like the Daytona 500 cars on fire upside down crossing the finish line. I hear Scotty has put a new rule in that if one guy has too big a lead with 1 min to go that all cars will be red flagged and stopped on the backstretch for a 1 min "Shootout" just like NASCAR.
Remember Guys "No Bump Drafting" or illegal Motor Drops in the Motors!!! or you will be put in the "Room of Doom"

Spring must be around the corner. I can tell because Doc is ready to emerge from winter storage, slowly opening the lid of his machined, blue aluminum cryogenic, ecto-pod to kick off yet-another TCS season.

Default Huh?

Did I miss something with the Spec Class? I never remember seeing the 'beginers only' disclaimer at the top of the spec rule section. Is this new or have I just never noticed it?

Just Blind

It has always been ther Raf I think they might have strengthened the tone in the last year or 2 though. Might have been 3-4 when GT3 was made an official class for TCS.

Ha! You know I had that lazer stuff done on my eyes...guess I read what I wanted to read!!!

We had planned on going to the Mt Laurel TCS with TT-01's to run in the spec class. I don't think any of us are experts, but certainly not beginners.

We have been running the TT-01's all winter on the carpet, then when it was time to find out what upgrades we can apply to the car for the spec class....we noticed the non-beginners stay away note.

Is the TT-01R competitive in the GT-3 class on pavement? Or to we need to go get a TA05?
