The Porsche seemed to work well for GT2 (at the Nats.) very similar to the Ferrari in performance just a little narrower. Just make sure you get a wing hopup for it.

Default Mini Class Weight Minimum

I've searched this site and the TCS rules but can't find the weight minimum for the Mini class. I know they have one since they were weighing our cars at last years finals. Anyone know what it is? Does that wight include the battery, transponder, body, everything?

Literally put it on the scale before it hits the track.

OK, Smarty Marty, what were the changes?

Fred- couple of suggestions:
* Use "track changes" or make the changed parts in red type or something.
* Take a moment to post on here (or on yer own web site) & let us know the rules have been updated -especially if the "old" rules have been e-mailed out to the entrants.

TWO MORE WEEKS!!!

Only found this, and heck it could have been posted prior.
Rule #15
Enlarging or creating extra vent holes in the wheels is permitted during regional races, but not during the TCS Finals.

Talking How many?

8. All racers finishing in the top ten in each class automatically qualifies for the Tamiya North American Finals. Those not making the top ten will be given first priority to walk-in to the TCS North American Final event on a first come first serve basis. You must have participated in the 2007 season to be eligible to take part in the TCS 2007 finals. There will be four classes that will be run in the finals in August. Those four classes will be announced two months prior to the event. Three of those classes will be eligible for the Tamiya World Championship trip. The winner of each class will win a trip to Japan to compete in the Tamiya World Finals held in November.

Or

At this time there will be only 3 classes eligible to win the trip to the Tamiya World Championships in 2007. Those classes are: GT-1, GT-2 and Mini. Additional classes will run at the TCS North American Finals and will qualify for a TCS North American title, trophy and prizes. Those classes are: F103GT, TamTech/Gear Super Cross X, Past Champions Throw Down and the New TamTech Gear GT-01 Porsche Cup 20 car Challenge. (Twenty 1/12-scale Porsches racing wheel to wheel at the Tamiya circuit!)

?????? Will we be able to run one of the TamTec GT-01 plus one of the three qualifying classes like last year Dirt track?

For the nats there was talk about a ranking system for the pre-sort of the 1st heat. Will there be something like that in place for the regionals?
I doubt smarty marty has a response for this. . .
