Will we be able to run the Supra ESSO Superflo body this year in regional races. I know that we were not allowed to run it because it could not be imported into the US. I want to use that body and livery for my GT2 car at Trackside this year.

Fred can you answer this?

Thanks.

Picked up my LiPo's today. The Carbon pack looks like it will fit more vehicles with fewer modifications, but the Platinum pack fits the F103 chassis like a glove.

Now another question for the LiPo experts.....
How do you carry these packs when you fly to events? I know they can't ship them via air if you mail-order, but are there restrictions for packing them in checked luggage? Or am I better off trying to get them through security and keeping them with me?

According to DOT interim final rule - the limit to transporting lithium based cells on passenger aircraft is 5g. When the battery is packed and installed in equipment, the limit is 25g. The equivalent lithium content is 0.3 times the rated capacity in amp-hours - so the peak/orion 4.8 A-h pack has a lithium content of 1.44g - so YES - you can bring it as checked luggage.

Linger are you retired from work or retired from racing?
If you were retired from racing I guess that means you sold everything. . .

Well, it's getting close to the start of the TCS season, so we are now stocked up on TCS related Tamiya products:

Tamiya spare and hop-up parts (more parts back in stock today website is updated

TCS racing bodies for GT-1 and GT2/3 classes

TCS legal tires, inserts, and rims!

can't wait to run the two day event this year at Tamiya HQ regionals

Ling is absolutely correct, Infact I rewired my Protable DVD player to run off my Carbon Lipo's and brought them on a flight this past fall to Pittsburgh and back to California in my carry on with no issues.

For Sedan, most everyone at nationals was on B3 tires, and A lot of people were running green or blue inserts.
Hope that helps.
