Any difference in "preparing" a 4 slotter over a 2??
Nope, just water dip until the brushes are flat against the comm and then run it and run it and run it. If it's ever going to be fast, it will be fast then.

Do you guys like Tribo comm drops?
YES! EXCELLENT bushing lube!

...or do you keep everything secret??
Only the secret stuff remains a mystery...

Are the green inserts Tamiya or HPI? The only Tamiya inserts I've seen are black or blue.

For those of you thinking of coming up or are coming up for TCS, Alaska is running a West Coat promotion on tix. OC to Seattle is $114 1-way so your round trip is $228 that price is about $100 off usual. The sale ends 22 January so if you are coming up book 'em now.

Hope you guys are laughing it up. Sucks being forced into semi-retirement.

Actually, I don't think I went thru any arms last year. C-Hubs and knuckles like candy though on that track. Bent a hinge pin too.

Never made it to the Past Chumps portion of things. I managed to squander my one best chance at it and haven't stood on the podium before or since.

I would usually be the first to bust on Mr. Katzer, but given what he has been through the last year or so I think I will refrain. Gary , hopefully you find a way to make it out to a race or two this year.

By the way, I never posted a response to the rules. Very well done FMW, a little late, but better late than never. I wish that at least one of the touring classes was a lipo class, but all in all some nice changes. One question about touring though , on the camber link rule, is this targeted at cutting the ear off to run the king pin ball stud? Sure hope not.

And now for today's Pharmacology lesson:

In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and a generic name.

For example, the trade name of Tylenol has a generic name of acetaminophen. Aleve is also called naproxen. Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin. And, Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has considered for years a new generic name for Viagra because of difficulty spelling and pronouncing the current generic tag. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it has been recently announced that it has settled on a new generic name for the drug, in keeping with the mindset of the patients who use it, as well as the physiologic action of the compound. The new generic name is: "Mycoxafloppin".

Considered were: Mycoxafailin
Mydixadrupin
Mydixarizin
Dixafix, and of course,
Ibepokin

The manufacturer, Pfizer Corp, also announced that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsico as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to - literally - "pour himself a stiff one."

Obviously, we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of "cocktails', "highballs" and just a good old fashioned "stiff drink".

Pepsico hasn't decided on the name of this new concoction but, sources have said it most likely will be labeled as " Mount and Do "

Yesterday, a Pfizer rep with a straight face handed this to me on authentic-looking letterhead...... It looked like this thread was rapidly hijacked into another "poor, poor Katzer" discussion, so I took extreme measures to turn it around.........
