BP SHADOW & MD, thanks... here is the complete spec of my TT01R:

Aluminum front bumper plate
Aluminum clamp type wheel adapter (hex)
Racing stabilizer set (front and rear) extra rollbars included
Adjustable upper arms
Steel dogbones
Steel diff joint cups
Turnbuckle tie-rods
Aluminum driveshaft
Aluminum driveshaft cups
Carbon upper deck
Aluminum racing steering set
Aluminum motor heat sink
Aluminum motor mount
Aluminum rear uprights
Stock Mabuchi motor (27 turn)

it is already full bearing and ball differential...

i'm planning to race on aslphalt surfaces... not too technical though.... i think i would prefer hi-speed track...

my shocks are TRF, which only have 1 hole on each piston... I'm sorry but i dont understand what is 40w when it comes to shock oil.. what i'm familiar with is the 100 - 1000 measurement used in tamiya silicone damper oil.

another thing, what's the use of having a front one way???

The spurs are not easy to find. You may have to get them off the Tamiya site. The optional aluminum shaft is a must for any motor other than the 540, because the stock shaft will warp. You can go to the Tamiya site and see other options like the adjustable arms and turnbuckles, ball diffs, a one way diff, aluminum steering, cvd's, aluminum motor mount, etc. I am sure you thought of bearings.
i'm currently running on 21T / 55T... i tried using 25T with 55T but it humms louder than a stock kit... is it ok???

Some drivers I know are runnig a 22/58 ratio. The humming noise, I am not sure about. Make sure your pinion and spur are meshed correctly. Is the noise coming from the drive shaft, the out drives, or dog bones. You listed steel dog bones. On other cars I've had, you can get noise from those if they are not straight.

not really sure if the noise's from the shaft.. i'll try to run the car without the shaft and see if the noise is still present... will keep you posted... thanks...

I sure hope Santa knows more than I do about the pending rules. Courage, F103GT, Lipos, Lipo charger, all on my list with an asterisk of "only if 2007 TCS legal". I will let you all know what Santa let's me know. Can't wait till 12:01 am, Dec. 25th. I will post after assembly and first run completed, oh, around 1:18 am on the 25th.

...okay,Rules , Spiderman , ruling old guys and Batman and a Red Rider Rifle ....will make us all happy.

Marty
