I'll be there early as well!

40+ cars in F201, that's insane in te mebrane, what is this TCS going to be like the F201 nationals or something?

All I know is I'm "all in" this class, I got my T-car to run on Saturday and then run the"race car" on Sunday. Three sets of tires with all different insert ideas , two race bodies F2002 and a FW24 and in top of that my new MOAB and tire warmers are in the hands of FedEX right now.

It's going to be one of those o'dark early deals on Sunday

Drizzle=Tire warmer's+A type tires+air gap

I hope the weather picks up for Sunday, or those without warmers and A's will be hurt.

gtypecanare,

Just make sure those tire warmers are Tamiya ones!

Steve

If you read this before Sunday's regional, bring spares of everything! When I say everything, I mean F201.

Neil, you didn't break anything did you? I think today was the first time you came off the driver's stand with a big fat ****-eating grin on your face AFTER driving an F201 lol. Tomorrow should be fun

Broke an a-arm. Have to replace before practice starts sun morn. When I say break, I mean fracture. It was just enough to warrant a replacement.

Great job to everyone who participated and who traveled long distances to Tamiya HQ for the regional race. Luckily, Scotty Ernst was on vacation and in town to give us great racing commentary.

Neil,

I was amazed how quick your car was in the Q rounds...for being bone stock! (TQ?)

It was a shame that a lighting bolt came crashing down on your 201 in the main. Your car still looked like it worked, even without the wing....nice drive.

Good to see you out there, will you be running the event in August?

Neil,

Great run yesterday during qualifying! Hope you will be back for the August round and also hope you can join our F1RL series

Madjack,

Congratulations on your win in GT-3 class, that was one of the most exciting races yesterday between you and Hibler!

Thank you Tamiya for yet another great race and also to Scotty for his announcing, we should really try to find a way to keep him here! hehehe

Default So many people there it felt like the Nats

Great job Steve and John! John, I bet you wish you could have run that mabuchi at Reedy- No glitching!
Steve- you definately were in the zone for the main. Mark D and I were ooohing and aaahing the way you worked through the field even after getting knocked back on the start.

And dang Ling you were strapped in GT1
What was Jim Bishop driving? If 414 that means all 414's on the podium

Good job yesterday guys, fun race. Just with I could remember how to drive and setup these darn little things. Thanks for the motor/use of soldering iron, rtypec, and for the use of the "hammer" madjack. My re-engineered ring/re-engineered motor was in active use in little Tom's car for the GT1 main!

Thanks for the kind words guys. As much as I wanted to win, I learned valuable lessons on the F201 and hopefully I'll apply it on the next round and the nats. It was a fun two days at HQ again, although it seems everytime I race there, it's overcast and cold!
