So they run past champs as a series of main events. Nice - although I seem to be pretty consistent in qualifiying as well. It looks like the wife might let me run next year (I mentioned it to her yesterday and she sounded excited abouve visitng CA). Just need Fred to post the rules a little sooner so I can prep a car over the winter - I have not owned the chassis used for the last few years' event. Although, if they make it an M03 I will be set. Might be cool to do GT103s, although the past F1 champs would have a huge edge in car set up knowledge.

They run both saturday and sunday....The last heats of the day. Racing starts at 10am, so I would say after 11:00 am

According to the lovely preprinted Official Racing Schedule distributed today (nice job, Fred!), the TamTech stuff should be running at 11:38 AM, 2:30 PM, And 4:54 pm Saturday. Sunday it looks like 11:08 AM AND 2:26 PM. They are cute little buggers.

Lots os fast people here this weekend...the depth of talent in every class is simply astounding. Nobody seems to be dominant at this point. Should be fun to watch and a real challenge for the racers.

The track is tighter than the regional race, so lap times are hard to compare. Those that were here for "Speedweek" saw a few variants, so early times are a bit deceiving. Thursday they saw the addition of a zig-zag at the beginning of the straight, which was tightened Friday evening just before the track closed. So one question remains.......Will the track be modified when we arrive Saturday morning?

As for me, I've been chasing an ill-handling car and a practice motor that started out slow and in the end suffered an untimely death. Hopefully my hand-out motors will be a bit healthier.

Now repeat after me......>We're here to have fun! We're here to have fun! "Goose Favra"! I'm just happy to be here.

I'll tell you what I can from my memory
GT1 it is the Juan Aveita show with the Mark Dawson close to him, Then I think the Canadian Driver (sorry don't remember his name)
GT2 is Keith Yu (canadian) Tany Tam and James Arluck for fast guys
Mini, Davis Weir, won the first, John Christiansen got the second and I got the third win.
As for Mike Masters I think he is about 4th maybe 5th he has finished asecond and a 5th?? Deven White, got a second, but had no good luck in the first 2 quals

We are using Qual point so it should be interesting
