How is everybody else doing in getting ready?
hahahaha We will try and stock up in the next few weeks on the Tamiya stuff. We should have a huge shipment coming in towards the end of next week for the nats.

what I'm doing to get ready? Rebuild the car I destroyed this weekend racing GT-1 main in the dark (it was a long day...but fun )

I noticed a bunch of new stuff but fortunately for me and un-fortunately for everyone else you were outta stock. I will check later in the week to see what you have got in.

Next question is how will you process orders for those coming to Speedweek and race weekend? Is there a pick-up or do you do special deliveries to the test track? Just courious in case something melts down and the Tamiya factory is closed.

Congrats on your GT1 TA05 running, looking forward to your article.

Default Detroit Crew

Well it looks like the detroit crew will probably be a no show this year. I want to come, but I dont think that the funds are really there this year. I wish there was a tire rule for this year, meaning a limitted number of teched tire sets, this would really make it interesting in my opinion, and really make for some close racing, but since I probably won't be there I quess it doesn't really matter. Good luck to all the midwesterners this year, and above all else have fun.

Yup, back to GT1.

We have a permanate track here, and its modeled after the tamiya track. Since I have a key , I get LOTS of track time. Got the cars working good now. So I figure I have a better chance to make the show again. My best in gt1 was 3rd, so back to it, and try it again.

They might need Stadium Lights for the Regionals next year.

Or,

Just start actual racing at 9am and then you will finish with a little day light.

Hi Jeff,

For those coming for SpeedWeek, we can ship it directly to the hotel you're staying at. And to ship to Aliso Viejo by UPS Ground will take only one day. So if you order on Wednesday, you'll get it Thursday (if your order comes in before 4pm) Last year I stayed open late on Thursday until 11pm for those that wish to come up and pick up anything last minute or just wanted to visit. I think I will only be showing up on Friday for practice (and of course Friday we'll be closed) I will most likely do the late hours again for the national.

See you Friday

Hey Mike,
Looks like I'll be running GT1, but most likely with my TA05. I felt more comfortable with it all weekend. Of course it didn't help not being able to see my GT1 car in the main!

Of course racing next month is all dependent on getting my gear back from the airlines! I guess someone liked my new case so much they kept it in Orange Co.
