Thanks for the tip! I think I will check that out until I can save up for a lap counter. I should try and setup both my MSX and 04R and compare times. At least then I can see how much slower I am than myself in a 27t car.

What bodies are you guys using in TCS for GT1? Everyone running NSXs or should I expect to see some Ferraris and Skylines?

Spec battery rules:
1. The clear plastic tubing and end caps must remain intact.
2. Puncturing the clear plastic or end caps to accommodate custom battery single cell equalizers is not permitted. Batteries found with man made punctures will be disqualified.

Good rules, that should help even out the playing field. How about marking where the endcaps and shrinkwrap touch with some nail polish like they do with tech'ed spec tires? This would stop people from cutting the shrink off, using a tray, and reshrinking the pack.

Thanks for the clarity, Fred, works for me. One more piece of equipment (that the airline guys stare at) that I can leave at home

Fred,
What about the connector on the spec battery, can we change the connector from the stock white tamiya plug?

Steve:
The Tamiya Branded GP 3300 Mah NIMH stick pack will be the spec battery used for the finals. The stock battery plugs may be changed.

Oh Sh*t. 4 weeks - 2 weeks out of country = not much time left. I guess I better start painting some new bodies now.

Well I think I am done with my racing before the Nats.
Now I have time to balance, polish, rotate, pull out the paint and take care of other secret stuff. I am also due to order some odds and ends... Speedtech here I come...

How is everybody else doing in getting ready?
