Doc,
If all goes well I'll be pulling in around 1:00pm that Saturday. Our flight is scheduled to arrive at 10:33am and then I'll have to drop the family off with our friends. Save me a little corner on your table!

Getting closer!

Doc,

My car worked real good in the A Main in GT2, I started 5th just in front of Bruce and behind Andy. Jimmy, Paul. Bruce and Myself all got a good clean run down to turn 1. Jimmy got the lead Paul, Bruce and me in hot pursuit, Bruce and Paul were were banging doors and I got by to chase down Jimmy. The rest of the race was one of the most exciting races I have ever had. Jimmy had about a 2 turn advantage but I was running him down, with 1 min. to go I got the lead and Jimmy and I were passing each other from 1 corner to the next diving inside each other. I finally made a old guy mistake down at the far rh corner leading on to the short straight in front of the drivers stand and just went over the "dot" there and Jimmy got by me on the final lap. I did almost pass him into the last corner to the finish line it was very close. Great "Win" for Jimmy and a good tune up for me leading into the Aliso Viejo Races coming up I have good momentum going into these races.

See ya @ the Gate @ Dulles on 7/21/06.
Steve.

Great running with you Steve in GT2. That was a pretty exciting race! I'll be looking forward to some more good TCS races next year. Laurel is definately a challenge for a good car setup to be fast. I just setup the car at home using last years race as a guide. Then only made 2 changes (spring and droop) to keep my car from pushing too much. I think next year I'll bring 2 cars. One for GT1. And one for GT2. I hate swapping motors out back to back.

Running with Doc in GT1 was fun as well. I lead most of it. But he got by me. Good win for him. Wish I hadn't of rolled the car. It would have been a good close finish like in GT2. There's always next year..

How many carpet tracks are in the TCS series? I'll have to practice some rubber tire during the winter. Anyways... catch yall next year...

Default spool or one way for GT1?

This will be my first TCS race and am wondering if everyone is running spools for GT1 like the Reedy race or if one ways are the way to go.

LOL

Unfortunately they are down two guys so I guess the work has been piling up on poor Fred (and Gary) ...

He was very optimistic about Monday, I think he was very close ...

Although I don't think the rules have changed much from the sneak peek....

f201 is running at the nats as long as there is enough entries. It is most likely not a trip winning class.

The rules are posted!!!!!!!! All is right with the world! I can now sleep well knowing that John, Gary and Chris will not be camping out on my doorstep much longer

Bring it on gents. This is going to be alot of fun this year. Bring it on! Oh wait. I'm not racing. OK well bring it on anyway

Most questions should be answered on the page. Whatever isn't answered I'm sure Katzer or someone will ask.

BTW who out there plays TOCA 3 online on their PS2????? I'm calling people out.
