I'm running GT1 and GT2 at the July regional race to feel them out before I commit, but I'm leaning towards GT1 at the Nats this year. I'm stocked up on B3 tires, so I sure hope it stays warm out there.

And here is the GT-2/3 and mini spec battery. P/N TA202. I think they sold the packs for $ 25.00 each at last years Nats for the Past Champs race. Tamiya MSRP is $ 55.00 each so hopefully they will pass on the "racers duiscount".

why not spec LI POLY batteries (although they wont fit for minis) from Team Orion/Peak? turn them in after each run.. pick one up before your heat.

maybe next year?

Am I messed up or what? I could've sworn the GT1 was silver cans, GT2 was stock motors and GT3 was the 19 class. Now on the Tamiya website, it has 19 turns running in the GT1 class and the silver cans in the GT3 class. Did I miss something or is my 'puter fried??

past week or two, we've had some crazy humidity though. hopefully august wont be as hot (wishful thinking).

this summer has been pretty hot compared to past summers. although when i went up to fremont for TCS..they thought 80 deg F was a "heat wave"

for Seattle folks... 72 deg F is a heatwave.
