Hey there Dan, Troy and the rest of the SIR racers. What's a good baseline setup for tires in Mini and GT1?
See you in a few weeks!

Now that I am somewhat recovered from 2 consecutive travel races, I would like to take the oppourtunity to thank both Tom and Scotty for putting on two great weekends of racing. As well as Tamiya for providing an awsome series for us to compete in. Both WOH and Trackside are first class facilities with great race programs and if you havent raced at either one, put them on your list, both are well worth the trip. Good to see everyone again, Doc, great choice on the restaraunt Saturday night. I'll see yall real soon.

Hey Doc the usual Hefty(tough enough to overstuff) setup for Mini is a little off on tires. We ran the Enduro and to keep tires from blistering we had to run a less full insert on the front and a full insert on the rear. I know ass backwards but it worked. I think we ended up with a Tamiya 24mm insert in the front and a overstuff rear with mini foam and a sedan shaped.

For GT1 I ran b3's last weekend and you need to warm them along with change all your rear roll to go full soft. I also ran a spool front with a 1-way center on my Ref2.
I ran Yok 037M inserts but would prolly try 039F to give more airgap, with that you might not have to change the rear roll around.

When you coming in Thursday or Friday?

Chris no issues there as long as you keep the Freq flier miles on the airplane and not on the chassis......

BTW if they release that rack it is going to be alot more than just a steering rack, main chassis and upper chassis all have to change. At that point it is close to saying new car so........
