Can anyone answer me why Maryland is getting 2 races and there isn't anything in the midwest? WTF I find it hard to believe that NO tracks in the midwest applied to be in the series...and NO Memphis isn't midwest. I'd like to see something in the Nebraska-Kansas-Oklahoma etc area.

They had 2 races in the Kansas - Oklahoma area. Tamiya pulled those probably due to lack of support. I know both of those past events were on my ta-do list but distance and timing never worked in my favor. It was told to me by Tamiya that each venue was expected to pull a certain ## of people. If it could not pull its own weight, then Tamiya could not support it.

All I can say is welcome to the big C and hope it can be a standard TCS venue as well as exceed everyones expectations!

I've heard that the Type A's won't work their usual wonders like they did up at RCO... what tires are we going to be going with for the Mini classes?

Really looking forward to this race weekend. Glad to see it stick around another year!

Zack-
When I ran there in December M's were the hot ticket for the front, with either A's or S Grips out back. Track is super smooth with outstanding traction. You will love it!

Talking with Richard ( the owner ) and Steve Hickman we came up with the idea and the track to use the same layout as the Tamiya track, just inverted...

The current layout is close to the tamiya laout just have to change the infield a little....

Hey, we can call it Tamiya East!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hm, well, I got half of it down. Thanks!

Looks like I'll have to look into the M's for the front. What inserts? Molded or sponge... and if sponge, blue or dark grey?

I gotta start racing weekly again. My wheel skrillz are a bit off.

Actually, I think any of the wide sedan 26mm inserts- HPI or Tamiya- work about the same when you jam them into a mini tire.
