Yeah Sam is from the Burien crowd up here but sadly or gladly in some others view he hasn't been racing this year as girls and cars for some reason became more inportant. Wait til he gets my age RC becomes more important(haha) although cars are a close second.

One week to go until the official "Speed Week!"

By the way, our large shipment of Tamiya parts is in, and for those of you that need to stock up for TCS, look for website updates tonight!

Steve, do you have any idea of the price for the F201 tuned kit?

Chances are they will not. The location of the transponder loop is at the far right of the stand if you are looking at it from the front. This makes running counter clock wise better so you can have a battle to the line instead of through the sweeper.

Every major race I've been to at Tamiya America always went in the CCW direction.

RCInfinity,

No, sorry, no word on the tuned kit. I'm guessing high $200 low $300...that's just my guess though.

Thanks Steve. I got the MRS GT body. Thanks, we'll square up when I see you at Tamiya.

Running clockwise is fun. Turning into the esses off the straight seperates the men from the boys and taken wrong, the men from their toys (crash, roll, break, crap!)

The thing with going in that direction is how much restraint racers will use when going into the turn after a head's up start. It can get very ugly.

Restraint? More like release of tension. Not to mention freq probs and motor glitching throwing the car into the boards.

I'm not holding my breath for that! I'm sure it will be a "hack or be hacked" attitude on the drivers stand. Expect a large NorCal contingent next week! We're rolling down on Thurs night.

We welcome NorCal Contingents but leave your Non-Sportsman like attitudes at home. TCS specially the Nats is all about sportsmanship and having fun or else the Penalty Box will be waiting for you. Earn your A-main Pols by showing us your driving and setup skills not with your hacking skills.

I agree too. There is too much at stake here. We have a good group coming from Wisconsin again! We like it clean!
