So do you think we might see a possible exibition class for this car...or will they let it run in GT3?

I would guess No and No...
Although the concept of the car is pretty neat!

The question is where did it come from, and is it a factory project car or homebuilt. I get this sneaking suspicion that Tamiya like alot of other companies is financially strapped, that is why we are seeing rerelases instead of alot of brand new product. If I had to speculate further, I would say this is the reason for the delays in TCS info

I agree with A-Ko- No and No.

This could be some sort of updated Group C chassis (maybe the TRF version) but the body post hole spacing doesn't look quite right. Looks like it would fit the older 103LM chassis (Toyota, Porsche, Audi) better than the Group C car bodies, except for the tire size- which is definitely in Group C territory.

We put together some cars like this in the mid-90's and they worked pretty well on carpet (using foam tires) with...sedan bodies. No lie. I think we used an NSX and a BMW that was popular at the time. They scooted.

The race at Trackside is tentively scheduled for the first week of March and again will be a 2 day event with a rally class run on the indoor dirt track. No word on the other classes though.

[QUOTE=rtypec] I certainly wish we could go again, unlike other countries where you can go as much as you like. One of these years, we should just bring a team full of ringers...
[QUOTE]

I agree, bring on the dream team.
Next year's team should be composed of Divad Nuj and Ymmij NesbocaJ

If they decide to send the winner of the past champs to Japan, I'll come out of retirement.

Hey Rod, maybe you and me should take a trip down to the 2006 aussie TCS nationals.
