I wasn't trying to be mean,

It was just another thing to stop looking forward to. I was impressed by the professionalism of the crew, seeing all the interviews and could not wait for the finished DVD to come out.

Reedy made it out in record time, this one sputtered and stopped,... If I had a DVD burner & capture card, I would offer to do it myself. For some reason I do have the software needed to do it.

Default new f1 thingy

Did anyone see the carbon F1/group C chassis @ www.rc-tv.com

Strange. You can see the results from the Worlds so far and scroll through the pics for some of the new stuff. Looks like they have a set of springs that are all white. That is white for every stiffness.

Looks like some sort of hybrid F103 Chassis setup with normal sedan wheels. Almost like the best of both worlds sedan/pan car

I guess the bumper and sedan tires is a givaway to the group c style body type.

Now they should come out with this body and we are all set for next year.

Its a double addiction
I dont think they would do those bodies, its like LeMans for Rednecks
It would be cool to see Tamiya do the Bentely and maybe the Dome or something

If I'm reading this correctly, GT1 Pole Position is held by Ronald Volker. He won the F201 world championship when I was there a couple of years ago. I certainly wish we could go again, unlike other countries where you can go as much as you like. One of these years, we should just bring a team full of ringers...

In any event, congrats so far to RV. Good luck to John, Corey and Edgar...bring ding it!

Rod,

It does seem unfair that everybody else can do it over and over. I think Canada falls into that status as well as far as the amount of times. Didn't that Japanese kid win the worlds 3 years in a row.

I always thought a cool compromize would be to allow you guys back in the series with a BUT. That but would be since you won GT1 you could only run F201 or GT2 and still qualify for Japan. This is assuming you are not sponsored, yada yada yada. . .

So I guess past chumps could run 2 classes. Then again what do I know I don't run this series.....

Well the results seem to be in for the Worlds.

GT Final - Edgar Fiallo 9th in the top
GT Final - Corey Lewis 10th in the top
N1 Final - John Houda 2nd in the B

For Qualifying;
Looks like Corey was incredibly consistant for qualifying.
Edgar seemed to get better as the event went on.
John seemed like he was searching for a setup.

For the Mains;
Seems like Corey had problems with not finishing 2 of the 3 rounds.
Edgar finished but was off the pace for 3 rounds.
John held off 3rd by 3 seconds to claim 2nd in the B.

Regarless of the results they probably had a blast and have a ton of stories to tell. I am sure if they could have had more time on the track then perhaps the outcome would be different. . .
