There were 3 tb-02's in the a main at the nationals.

The winner ran a TA-05, John Houda.

kevin, i think you mean TA05.

i think there were only three TB-02s (Kevin M., Travis L. and Juan A.) Tony Q. and Joel N. ran TA04s.

So does that mean that all the TA04 owners dumped theirs for the TA05?
Or
The TA04 owners were mostly in the B & C mains....

I am sure a combination of these were the result. It would be interesting if the B mains on back were heavy in the TA04s.....

P/N 53293 is for 26mm rims. Mainly used on mini cars (like the M04-M BMW) that runs the regular size rims.

Other than that, most sedan guys for GT-1, GT-2, or GT-3 run the 24mm tires.

If you run Spec class (TL01 or TT01), you have to run the specifed tires they list and these are not one of them.

i read somewhere that the release is dec. 10. and north america and europe will receive their kits one week in advance. looks like a global release for the car.

yes.. fred had mentioned that he was going to have the 2006 rules up by october, but host sites for the races next year are lagging in responding to the schedule changes.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm hoping for some southeast races i.e. Fla, Ga, Ala etc...I'm seriously thinking Gt1...sorta getting tired of dropping gobs of cash into silver canned chassis' that don't compete easily with the competetiors...My dream is a GT1 type class with stock motors...call it GT1/2

Oh well till then my Thundertech Ripper Clod is seeing action in the neighborhood...and the kiddo's are loving chasing it!

December 10th for the 415MS R2......Sweet! Now for the $64,000 question: How much? I'm guessing $500 and change.

Hey Herc, ThunderClod huh? I just picked up a TNX-Pro to pass the time this winter.

Who knows, maybe we'll run a TNX class at the TCS races.

I'm planning on running TCS for the first time in '06, GT2 class. I've read thru some of this thread, and it sounds like gt2 ran silver can.
But, it states specifically in the rulesfor GT2: 4. Any ROAR legal 24-degree stock motor or kit type closed-end-bell, silver can motor only. Rebuildable 27 turn 24 degree stock ROAR motors are also legal for this class.
So which was it? Don't want to run silver can...

GT2 is a stock motor,
GT3 is the Silver can motor

GT2 is a stock motor,
GT3 is the Silver can motor
You are correct with regard to the US Regionals. At the TCS Nats and Worlds, GT2 is a silver can class.
