Questions?? Mini tires and insertd

Need some suggestions for the M-chassis class. Only the 54995 Soft and 54999 Hard tires are allowed at TCS races. What tires and inserts should be used on an asphalt surface? Thanks

soft are going to be what u want but depending on track temps is going to determine the wear. As for inserts i used open cell foam. U are going to have to glue the front side walls for traction rolling. At jackson we use the xpress 30 shore pre mounts. Even for tcs events. I would get with the track and find out what there going to do in regards to tires because tamiya stuff is hard to come by if you dont buy in bulk.

I believe itís the blue soft insert you need. If you have at least a month before your event, Check PlazaJapan for the tyres. I ordered 2 sets of S and one set of H plus inserts and rims from them. Very reasonable prices

Default Finals Site?

With the unfortunate impending demise of Cal Raceway, will we be going back to Omaha for the finals?

Shocks, upper arms make that car not TCS legal. Only arms for GTE are legal. TA08 arms are not legal on that car

Default GT-spec Novice class

Hi. I'm helping my son set up a TT-02R for the novice spec class for the upcoming race at Larry's and I'm wondering if it's legal to add some spacers to the internal part of the shock shaft to add some droop to the set-up? I'd use the the spacers that come on the CVA shock tree and or some 0-rings in the kit. I've read all the rules/regs and I'm not quite sure.
Thanks!
Adam

Yes for Spec Novice your fine. Youíre allowed hop ups in spec novice, so long as itís Tamiya.. you can even go with TRF shocks

My sons novice car is pretty much a prospec car. You are allowed any esc and can set the car up like a prospec car. U can even gear it faster then the stock 70x20 gear. I have his at 68x27 now and he blows the doors off my prospec car. His is pretty much a tt02r with top adjustable arms.
