Ok now I have a rule question. In novice do you need to run kit esc or no. It says motor only not esc. My son is running it and his tt02 production car is already setup for it now with a hobbywing 1080 esc

So tires for 180 for mini class are all on the 2023 rules but they added the xrpess 40s for mini to the legality of it. Many people still have old stock of tires left so.It was left as is, and added the xpress tires for the newer people who can't find tires for mini in time.

I really wouldn't be able to tell. I've only ran the xpress 30s on asphalt and they were great. On carpet they had the rear locked it and front needed glue like any other tc did. Never ran the 40s but I have run the radials on asphalt and soft had crazy tire wear and hard pushed like a dump truck. I have rides in my bag from a car i bought for my son. Im not letting him run the mini with zero experience driving it yet so he will do his last novice and also run euro truck.

I'm looking for a starting FDR for GT2 with a TA08R using the Reedy 21.5. Getting the kit built now and want to get the correct spur gear purchased. Anyone have a recommendation?

I think I was in the 3.4-3.6 range on the TA07 in GT2 last September. Medium sized indoor carpet track with flowy layout (Hobbyplex).

I went with 64T and 66T Spurs and 35-41T pinions. ( Widen it just a touch ) The 66T let's me go down to 3.0 FDR. and up to 3.5FDR. If I need to go way down in the FDR ( or up depending on how you look at it ) I have the 64T as backup to get down in the 2.8's.

As a second fun class for TCS, I am going to race Euro Truck. In the rules it states: 16.11 All screws in the kit must be used. You may not omit screws to change the handling of the truck. NOTE: The plastic motor cover directly over the motor does not need to be used.

Does this include the body itself? The Euro Truck bodies come with accessories that require the tiny 3mm screws to attach. Most people use double sided tape or shoe goo. Just wondering what everyone else is doing and what is legal.

all lexan parts must be used on the body. Of using the merc flat nose there is a rear cover they give u with velcro. Please do not throw it away many people got hung up on that because they did not have it. Also the fat fox u have to use the lexan rear fenders. And must have a 5th wheel on the truck. U can not have the mirrors as of last year but must use all other parts from kit body. Tires may also be glued up to the first tread for carpet racing

Does anyone have tips on how to mount a fan on a F104 PRO II? I am able to fit a 30mm fan on the friction plate.. but then the body doesn’t fit.. and as per TCS rules I can’t cut the body..
