Anyone have a couple FT 21.5 motors for TCS? I need two for mini class.

DM me.

Hello,

Noobie here...planning to join TCS Pro-Spec this year and I just have a question regarding 'Article 7: Motor Rules', specifically about installing fan/s:
  • How are we supposed to install fan/s for the motor? Are "bolt-on, off-brand, after-market fan mounts that bolt around the motor circumference" allowed?
  • Are 3D designed/printed fan mount/s for the motor permitted?

Any help and/or clarification are most appreciated.

Thank you! =)

They have been in the past. That's what I've always used.

I'm not sure why not. If you did something super out of the ordinary it might get you nabbed, but probably not.

Thank you for the response...someone on a separate thread suggested the kit-supplied plastic part. Apart from it not looking very optimal, it only accepts 30mmX30mm fan...I'd like to know how/what they would allow to mount a 40mmX40mm fan.

Thanks again! =)

Default TT02 Front Uprights

Hello,

For ProSpec class in TCS in California, is it allowed to grind the steering limiter in the front uprights?

Thanks in advance =)

No grinding allowed whatsoever. You also don’t need more steering throw in ProSpec. So don’t over think it

Are you running a locker or putty in the front diff? What is the current suspension and diff setup? When is it understeering, corner entry, mid, or exit?

Car is a TT02RR:
Diff: 3K both front and back
Shocks: Tamiya 400 (40 CST?); no droop spacers
Shock Mounting: inner mounting on shock tower for both front and back
Camber: 2 deg front; 1 deg back

The car is "pushing", understeering mostly on exit. However, I won't mind having more steering on entry and mid corner as well.

Thanks for all your help and/or suggestions =)

Start with 3mm spacers in the front shocks and 2mm spacers in the rear shocks. Try that first then start increasing the front diff fluid. I run a front locker in mine.

also move front shocks to outer hole. Swap camber around.. 1° front 2° rear.

What springs are you using?

Hello,

Thanks again for the ideas =) Will definitely try them.

Currently, I have silver/7 coil springs for the front with red (soft) springs for the rear.

Thank you =)

In 2013 and 2014, the 2005 and 2008 NSX was legal.

In 2015, it was NOT LEGAL any longer for reasons that aren't really important.

The question was posed on the Facebook group and someone said the early NSX is legal again.

So, is it legal? Because if it is I don't have to paint.

Is there a plan for an alternate motor if the Reedy FT 21.5 isn’t back in stock or are we just screwed?
